HPS lost our most trusted advisor on August 5, 2020. Matt was my partner in life and one of the people who pushed me to start this firm. Matt had the most brilliant mind and always offered sound advice. Matt's vast experience working in public and private company board rooms on Executive Pay for 25 years provided an insight and vision to our company that helped us to grow as quickly as we did. Matt saw HPS as being a global leader in the training and development space. He saw my ability to lead and pull people together as a strong foundation for this firm.
On a personal note, Matt and I shared a life, a home and a love for the outdoors. He opened up a world to me that I will forever be grateful. His life ended abruptly and our time together was too short. He is missed terribly everyday and loved for eternity. Rest in Peace.

Patricia was responsible for implementing the very successful Falmouth Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) in Falmouth, MA. The program began with 16 volunteers and teachers in Falmouth High School and quickly expanded into all seven of Falmouth schools. When Patricia left the program there were more than 1100 volunteers working with teachers and students. In addition to volunteering in the classroom, residents worked as one-on-one mentors, in inter-generational programs, in a literacy program, and in a cross-age science teaching program. With the assistance of her Board of Directors, Patricia was responsible for several very successful yearly fund-raising events – VIPS Home and Garden Expo, VIPS Golf Tournament, and Feasts of Falmouth. She always called them “Fun-Raising Events.” In addition to being Director of VIPS, Patricia was also the Director of Falmouth Community School. When she began working with the Community School, there were 35 classes offered in each of 2 semesters. She hired instructors, organized and scheduled classes. She recently retired from the program with more than 100 classes offered in each of 3 semesters. Patricia’s philosophy was to offer affordable enrichment classes to those citizens who paid for the schools.
